The last thing one looks for before starting with his mundane week and job is to have a memorable end to the weekend..!! After trying to work out a lot of permutations and combinations of restaurants, I finally bumped into this newly opened place on Zomato! And there I was with another foodie friend of mine!
The locality and look of the building is exactly unlike the interiors of this place. It is tucked away in a residential quiet area, little bit difficult to locate, but only till the point this place becomes famous. And boy, it sure is on its way to become one!!
I was greeted at the door by a host of celebrities from Madhubala to Madhuri and Raj Kapoor to Ranbir Kapoor!! Small size collage kind of a thing is put inside a huge frame which looks like the dressing/make up table at the back stage.
Then there are those walls which are filled with graffiti of immortal dialogues like \” Jaa Simran Jaa, Ji Le Apni Jindagi\” to \”Tera Kya Hoga Kaalia?\”, and then there are movie posters including even one of Govinda\’s \”Raja Babu\” 😛There\’s the customised menu card to say \”Roll\” and \”Cut\” for our next food order. And there are the large dotted shirt clad servers. There are those lights used for shooting….
I can go on and on about the ambiance, but I will restrict myself .
The servers were courteous. Service was pretty fast. Even the menu items have been inspired by movie names and famous punch lines. An example being, K k k k.. Kadhai (the punjabi sabji)! And you very well know which dialog this refers to!! We ordered the chinese starter, herbed babycorn mushroom chilli in our quest to try something different! It was slightly spicy, nicely cooked and well cut into small chunks. To further delve into the unknown, we decided to travel to Thailand to try something Thai. So there it was! Green Thai Curry. This was my first trip to Thailand. After a lot of discussion, we came to the conclusion that the curry was made from powdered basil, curry leaves and coconut milk and maybe something more. It had a very peculiar and different taste. It had broccolli, various colored capsicum and couple of other veggies. The quantity of rice was insufficient as compared to the curry though.

Pricing : A little bit costly, but definitely worth trying for the whole experience.
I came to know that they are going to launch a roof top open air seating soon. Looking forward to enjoying it
