Some movies, you are just forced to go to because of your friends. This one was one of them!! There has been a splurge of UP Bihar based movies of late, which I have got bored of, although most of them have been of high quality!
The dialogues in this movie and the sequence of events are poorly executed and pretty ordinary for a major part of the movie, or so it seems!! Till you come to know that whatever we have been fed till now is not the truth!! Probably, we have not seen a movie of this genre in a long long time, since Bluffmaster I suppose! However, towards the fag end, the story turns upside down on its head with a somewhat predictable end in sight! It also seems a bit too far fetched and more like two typical Bollywood Revenge stories cramped into one. Sharman Joshi as the schizophrenic, fanatic and maniac brother plays his role to perfection. Aishwarya Diwan supports him well. While most of the remaining characters remain on the fringe, Govind Namdev stands tall among them with his cunning villain role as usual. Songs are thankfully kept to a bare minimum. Many a dialogue are pretty ordinary and jokes are ill-timed or unlaughable. There are many scenes which seem impossible if you revisit them after the unfolding of the story at the end, like the one where Devina hands over a dress to Kaashi\’s sister Ganga.
All in all, a pretty unexplored concept, which has been poorly executed!!
