बहोत सारे लोगो के अच्छी समीक्षा अर्थात रिव्ह्यू के बाद मुझे \’मूव्ही में जरूर आना\’ ऐसा पोस्टर दीखने लगा था।
So, i went for it… Better late than never… Unplanned, in terms of time, company and venue… All alone!! Actually i was supposed to watch it the day before with a friend, but it was meant to be seen this way! I was keeping my fingers crossed that this movie shouldn\’t be the marriage-centric-rona-dhona runaway bride kind of films that had come up recently… And thankfully, this movie was much more…
Rajkumar Rao is at his \’FTII product\’ best..The pre interval and post interval Mishraji aka Rajkumar, and his paradigm shift from the lattu for Aarti Sattu to a seemingly emotionless, stone hearted and full of vengeance IAS officer is just marvellous! Kriti Kharbanda also packs a punch in only her 3rd movie in bollywood.. Govind Namdeo is at his usual villainish best as Kriti\’s father.
During the course of the movie, it touches many important chords of our life like arranged marriage, professional freedom for women, dowry, corruption, corrupt age old mindset regarding the concept of marriage in general, etc. The first half of the movie, before the marriage is called off is probably the stuff marriage hopefuls\’ dreams are made of… 😉😉 For a pleasant change, during the fag end of the movie, the actress quite literally stalks the actor to make him agree to marry her… And after all, it is a bollywood movie.. so they are meant to \’live happily ever after\’… So he does agree, but not before a Bluffmaster movie style staged \’real drama\’…!!
The songs are aptly placed and keep up with the pace of the movie… Some of the typical traditional dialogues with a negation at the end are delivered spot on by our FTII alumnus.. \’Subah uthte hi chai banade, hum nahake aae to nashta tayyar karde, jaise mummy kar rahi he saalo se papa ke lie, office ke lie dibba bana ke de aur shaam me jab hum ghar aae, to hamare per dabade… Aisi biwi humko nahi chahiye\’… is just one of them!!
Only two things that i found a bit weird.. One, how can one, i mean the two of them, do all the things that they did, in mandir premises??
And two, after all the built up in second half of the movie, Rajkumar closes the inquiry case climax with just a 2 liner without seemingly much of a proof.. without any counter arguments…!! I mean come on.. are we watching a Govinda or a Salman movie here… (I dnt care what Salman or Govinda fans will comment on this…😂😂) But… Everything is fair in love and war… And bollywood movies!!!
तो अभी तक अगर नहीं गये हो, तो मूव्ही को जरूर जाना।
